Google ads
 

As I have spent and am spending a ridiculous amount of time on this I figured I test Google ads here to see if I can get something out of it.

The pixelpost website is not the best page though for targeted ads, I would like ads relating to photo here but there are not much talk about cameras or anything so the system won't know my target audience and will probably not serve up really relevant ads.

This is a test, it will be scrapped if it's not working right away, or if the amount generated is negligable.
I will keep the ads small and non-intrusive.

I am not looking to get rich here. I just thought that if the vast amount of time spent can somehow be transformed into a new CF card or some small item like that which I need, but for personal reasons can't put money on right now, then it would be awesome.

Anyway, just want to share what I am doing here.

just throw some user gear reviews on here or something...or interview the best of pixelpost or something...get some camera content goin somewhere

I think these small google ads in the forum are not too disturbant

Especially because I followed (which is very rare) one of these adverts
and I must say, I was absolutely astonished about that offer, I even ordered one hosting account and I am really impressed

f.e. they offer a lot of PHP-Scripts ready to install from the CPANEL, so maybe they should include "Pixelpost" there??? :idea:

the automated installation will surely prevent a lot of problems at the beginning (absolute <-> relative path f.e.)

and the price is incredible low, not even 4€ a month!

Now that's an idea! Perhaps one should make a go at it. Or offer hosting myself perhaps :)
