Eleven2 DNS
Thought i'd post this here, instead of emailing you guys direct.
My domain http://www.touchnothing.net seems to be regularly down for people in the UK using Blueyonder (a MAJOR cable ISP, part of Telewest). In my office right now, it seems down. Changing off their DNS servers, to those of another company, means i can access my site again. The domain name is hosted with 123-reg in the UK, but i use your name servers. I'm not really sure if i should be contacting you, or Blueyonder, it just seems that their DNS servers don't hold a record for my domain half of the time - i have several friends who have never managed to view my website! Any ideas? |
humm
did you trace it? http://www.dnsstuff.com sometimes i can figure out where the dns is hanging e2 will be around in a bit, rodney was headed out of the office when i talked to him a few moments ago |
You should be contacting your local ISP about their DNS issues.
We hold a DNS cluster to ensure their are no issues here on our end. Your Internet connection has their own DNS servers that resolve to ours, which it looks like they may have a issues resolving. |
Thanks Rodney, i'll let them know. Just wanted to make sure, i figured you'd be much easier to contact than them
