How to write Admin-Addons for 1.5

I've written an instruction for writing admin-addons for Pixelpost 1.5. With Admin-Addons you can write addons that customize the admin pages of Pixelpost.

Can you make a scheme of the Pixelpost? I think that it would be more easy to understand how everything works and has put together.

On this moment everything is so abstract.

Abstract is fun ;)
Check out some of the existing admin addons and you'll pick it up in no time.

available workspaces in admin-section

here is a list of the existing work_spaces in the admin-section
1- admin_html_head
2 - admin_main_menu
3 - admin_main_menu_contents
4 - new_image_form
5 - image_uploaded
6 - image_edit
7 - default_thumb_created
8 - options

so the names of these workspaces show obviously where they will be activated, for example everything you define in an Admin-AddOn, which you assign to the workspace "default_thumb_created" will be executed after the thumbnail is created

I hope this helps you a little bit

I am sure there will be some more workspaces in future and maybe some names might change in BETA-status, but it is a great idea to add functionality to the admin-part of PP

If I wanted to introduce the concept of workspace on user side - where would be the right place to start hacking?

give me an example of something you'd like to accomplish, and i'll tell you how to go about it.

a couple of my addons have needed this, and i've resolved the issue with simple include lines in the main index.php, no need for major hacks.

we'll be considering workspaces on the user side in future releases, so let me know what's on your mind.

There are no workspaces on "User side" (index.php in Pixelpost root)
this concept is only for Admin (admin/index.php)

for "user side" you can write "plain Addons", add them to the Addon-Directory and activate them in ADMIN-section / Addons
