Hi all,
After some major hits by spammers I closed the PPWiki new accounts. I almost recovered things now and Pixelpost wiki is now open again. Please Please Please contribute.

how can i create new pages from the contents page if you lock the source? ;)

whoops... there was a button to unprotect page but it's diapeared! Mediawiki is playing with me...

Ok now everything is back to normal and you can edit and add new pages.

I am just learning WIKI, installed MediaWiki as well at one of my domains, found it hard to configure (I always want to tweak ...)

so I will try on friday, now I run to HEinz' birthday party.

Yes MediaWiki is not meant for casual use - for that I prefer DokuWiki (file based) Wikawiki(MySQL based)

i looked into the wiki system a while back, i tried about 4 out...i found them all a pain to work with. It's great we have something up and running now though...

yeah... it's working and ready for addin content (the most important part).
I've already added some. you can always use this RSS feed to track the latest modifications in the wiki

I added this to Firefox live bookmark in the toolbar...

common, click on the red links at http://www.raminia.com/wiki and add content. it's very simple to add stuff.... (and hard to configure)

Current status of Pixelpost wiki
 

There are 1,345 total pages in the database. This includes "talk" pages, pages about PPWiki, minimal "stub" pages, redirects, and others that probably don't qualify as content pages. Excluding those, there are 14 pages that are probably legitimate content pages. There have been a total of 3,170 page views, and 306 page edits since the wiki was setup. That comes to 0.23 average edits per page, and 10.36 views per edit. About 60% of links in the main page are still waits for your contribution to be filled up. About 40% of them have content but need revising.
