10,412 spams in just 2 days
 

That's really wonderful to have 10,412 comment spams in just 2 days! Thanks to AKISMET the are all caught in my wordpress weblog.

Sometimes people cry in the forum that they got a huge spam attack just right after installing new Pixelpost version. I want to say them that this is not due to new Pixelpost but it's about new SPAMers on the net! I got these huge number of spams just after intalling Wordpress 2.0.2 and this spam problem isn't related to the version of WP at all.

and they are getting creative - I was fooled by the last one I got - it said

The website of the author is phlog.net Akismet caught it alright

Wow, the bandwidth for that must be huge.

Until I get a chance to install Akismet (I'm planning on doing so), I'm currently having all comments moderated, before going live... of course... I don't have 10k spams in 2 days, just yet. ;)

how ironice that this thread should be spammed ^^^
