Setting Up PP on eleven2
 
Hi,
I've starded yesterday on eleven2. 24 hours passed and my donain still not active, is this normal?

I've placed a simple html file called index.html under the www directory (is this the root for web?) just to check if the domain is on the air, and I'm confused because if i use the domain name i got the tipical error: The page cannot be displayed, but if i use the ip address sent to me by eleven2 then comes up a cpanel page with the message There is no website configured at this address.

Can anybody give me some help on this?

Please let me know the domain name in a PM and I can take a look for you.
All accounts are generally setup within a hour or so if you pass our fraud verification and all.

My address is nonprophoto.org and I've set up pp on www\zef\ directory as a subdomain zef.nonprophoto.org

maybe it just takes some time until a domain is propagated and known at all the dns-servers.. so this may take some time as well

From looking at this it doesnt appear that you selected the register domain option also when setting up the acct. I cant say for sure if thats the case but if you will email domains@eleven2.com requesting registration I can have them find out if it was supposed to be and just didnt happen or what but they can get it registered for you.

i am having the exact same problem. i am absolutely positive i selected the register domain, it comes up on "my center" and when i try to re-register it through eleven2, it says it's already registered. a quick jaunt over to godaddy shows that my domain is still available.

this is going on FOUR DAYS after eleven2 charged my card. emailing tech support gets me a typical "we're currently looking into it" response. also, i am completely unable to post in their forum about this problem, claiming i "do not have permissions to access this page" or the forum section is down.

needless to say, i'm pretty disappointed. E2 gets rave reviews from this site and their customer feedback forum is nothing but praise, of course. i see that some E2 guys post here so hopefully someone will see my post and get it done.

Rider-X try calling the 24/7 phone support They have been helpful to me and answered my questions w/in 5 minutes
