Problem with RSS feed and VFXY on Eleven2

I've already submitted a ticket to E2's support dept. about this, but thought I'd ask the folks here who have their blogs hosted on E2 about the issue while I wait for a response.

I moved my photoblog over to my shiny new E2 account this past weekend. The move went well and the DNS propagated fairly quick. So far, so good.

I uploaded a new image on the 7th (yesterday), and the upload went fine. However, when I check my account over at VFXY, the latest image isn't showing up there. I haven't changed my hotlink rules in my .htaccess file, which allows VFXY to display my images. The latest image shows up in Google's feed reader as well as the Sage reader in Firefox. Only VFXY seems to not be able to pick it up.

I didn't have this problem at the old host, so was wondering if possibly there is something in the server configuration at E2 that may be causing this.

Has anyone else encountered this same issue? If so, what was your solution?

Yesterday Ive noticed that VFXY has got some delay in processing feeds. From the last thumb showing there Ive posted two more images so I dont know where is the problem. Im almost sure there is some problem at VFXY side. I will try to contact with Lev (who is owner of VFXY and our forum user) and ask about this situation.

Ping Settings

hi dhdesign,
It seems like your set your "Ping Options:" to "Use ping service"
It means you have to trigger VFXY robot to download new posts from your site.
I guess once you moved to new hosting you forgot to setup this on your end.
Anyway, you always can let VFXY robot scan your site automatically just change it to "Scan feed often".
Hope it helps.
All the best,
Lev

Hi Lev -

I had my photoblog setting as "Scan feed often", even after the move to the new host, and it has worked fine, up until a couple of days ago. This morning, when I discovered that the thumb for my latest image hadn't shown up on VFXY yet, I changed my settings to "Use ping service", and logged into my blog admin and added http://photos.vfxy.com/ping/2815 under "Ping Service" on the Add-ons page, hoping that would solve the problem. Unfortunately, it didn't, as the latest image still isn't showing on my VFXY page.

I've just changed it back to "Scan feed often", what I usually have it set for. I'm concerned, as it's been almost 48 hours since I posted that image, and it still isn't showing up. Usually it only takes a couple of hours before VFXY scans my blog and grabs the thumb for the latest image.

Any other ideas on what might be happening?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

Yeah, it looks like problem of automatic scan.

I just checked my blog at VFXY again, and the thumbnail for the latest image is now there. Whatever the issue was, it seems to be working correctly now. :)
