ATTN: Addon Authors, Please read.

So, with the opening of our new Extend repository (read more), we'd like to ask all addon and template developers to please take the time and add your projects to the list if it already hasn't been.

Adding your projects couldn't be simpler. If you have a forum username and password, you're already a step ahead of the game.

Login to your Dashboard using your forum username and password. If, your already logged in, then there will be no need to login a second time.

Once viewing the dashboard, take a look around, get yourself familiarized with the menu on the right of your screen.

To list a new project, you guessed it, click the New Project menu link.
To view and edit existing projects, click the My Projects menu link.

Pretty simple stuff ehh ;)

So enjoy, and if there should be any questions and/or bug reports, please let us know.

I have 3 addons, I login and submit new project. I was told to insert the old id, but when I press submit, error told me to remove old id. what's going on?

Dkozikowski 10-13-2007 03:38 PM

You only enter a OID if your addon is listed at the old Pixelpost.org V1 site.

Also, make sure your addons are not already listed by visiting the dashboard first. If they were on the V1 site they have already been transfered for you.

If you're still having toubles, come back here and let us know. We'll sort out the kinks :)

Yes, my addons are all in v1 site. and I found them on my project list now. thanks.

Dkozikowski 10-14-2007 03:38 AM

Not a problem. We updated the OID error message to warn users that their project might already be stored.

Thanks for the feedback.

Addon Authors who have their Addons already listed in the new extend section should have a close look at list of their addons:
There are addons which exist in different versions and still have single addon pages for each version, not making use of the version history feature of the new extend section.

So please look into your dashboard and merge those different addon versions into one addon page, using the version history, and delete the old versions in the system.

For some addons this has been already done by the incredible guys dwilkinsjr and jaywilliams but not for all of them. Go and help them!

I was just browsing through my add-ons and noticed that I'm credited for the Catalan translation. I have many talents, but speaking catalan isn't one of them (I'm not even sure where that language is used - a part of Spain perhaps?).

Now, I don't just want to delete the languange, as somebody might want to use it, maybe as a base for a new and updated translation. But I shouldn't credited for it I think (and much less held responsible :-)), so how do I "get rid of it"?

Dkozikowski 10-16-2007 02:59 PM

LOL. I'll take care of it. Not sure why you were set as the author.

Dkozikowski 10-16-2007 03:01 PM

All set XerXes.

The About Text addon and the Link List addon have not been added to the Extend section.

Dwilkinsjr, since Tommaso has seemingly shut his site down, can you add the About Text addon? The Link List addon is your creation, based on the other one.

Just would hate to see both of these get lost in the shuffle. :)
