Hindi translation
Hindi translation ? If its not being done...
I am willing to help with it.. Please let me know what i need to do, as hindi support on web is quite a big problem... |
As far as I know there currently isn't any Hindi translations, but you can create your own translation easily enough. Simply take one of the existing translations, and modify it.
When you're done you can release it on the Extend section. http://www.pixelpost.org/docs/Languages/Languages Here are a few translations that were created in this exact manor: http://www.pixelpost.org/extend/languages/?req=1.7 |
The problem isn't translation but what fonts to use for it ?
I am not aware of any hindi font that is used on browsers.. Can you point me to that.. Apparantly there are various ones, i see that i can't use the font blogger Or blogspot uses.. Pls guide me on that.. |
The key is to simply enter the characters in unicode, so any unicode font can render the characters.
Such as: http://www.unicodehindi.com/convert/index.html Or you can search for more: http://www.google.com/search?q=Hindi+unicode |
thanks a lot i will do it from here on...
