With this addon you can add a searchbox to your templates.

I take it this is only searching the description field? It might be a little more useful if it also returned results from the image title, categories, and tags.

At the moment it searches only the title & description field.
It is debatable if it makes sense to search in the tags since you can filter them.

The search as it is now is is quite simple - but should cover the urgent needs (search in title & description).

But of course I'll plan to add more features to the search e.g.:
search other fields like (categories, exif,...), add logical operatores (and, or, not), weight the search results, add more options to refine the query (date range, search within categories,...).

You might want to add a note in the Developer Description that the addon searches the description and title fields.

Unfortunately the search is displaying the upcoming pictures, which I am uploading for the future. Is it possible to exclude this pictures?

Since I've never planned pics for the future I haven't been thinking of that.

I'll fix (and re-upload) the search on the weekend!

How could this be incorporated with the page by page archive to allow for paged search results?
