CGI Error
When I try to change the theme in the admin panel I get the following error:
"CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers." Other areas in the admin do not work as well. The site was working fine for a couple months. pp vers. 1.7.1 studioTKO.com thanks t |
Please contact your hoster, they should be able to figure it out. It has nothing todo with Pixelpost.
|
Thanks -
I have spoken to my hosting service and they did not have an answer. i was hoping someone may have had a similar experience so I could give my host some insight into the issue. thanks again t |
Who is your hosting company?
It looks like they are running PHP as CGI, which is quite slow. If you PM me your domain and information, I can look at it for you and at least tell you what is going on? |
I still have no resolution to my problem. My hosting service has no idea what may be causing it. I think it has to do with an IIS update on the windows server?
Has anyone experienced this? Sorry for posting here but I don't know what else to do. thanks |
I have seen allot of issues recently with IIS and CGI.
|
I have not been able to find a solution to this problem.
So I guess I can't use pixel post on this server? |
TKO - Does your webhost offer accounts on a Linux server? If so, I'd ask them to switch you from a Windows server to a Linux server.
|
Yes, I would highly recommend using linux as from our experience, php runs allot better on it!
