New Mod: SEO Pixelpost 1.7
 

One of my biggest wishes for Pixelpost had been heard: there finally is a new attempt in making Pixelpost URL's more SEO friendly.

You find it in the Mod section: SEO Pixelpost 1.7

I've just installed it over my current Pixelpost gallery, unfortunately the newly rewritten URL's don't get opened. Maybe I'm just missing the right .htaccess file where the routing to the new URL's has to be done?

Ok, got it working now. Problem was I did overlook the accompanying .htaccess file, because it is hidden in the Mac OS X Finder.

I guess sometimes the Terminal (CLI) can be your friend. ;-)

well I was wondering what kind of SEO benefit this new MOD will give us? will it make the Pixelpost more search engine scroll friendly? or will it help us to build the backlinks? some explanation will be very helpful
