Most of us are members at various forums & have Critiques & comments (C&C*) from each community..
One of the ways for pixelpost to become more popular is to have a addon on admin page that will allow to integrate all the C&C* from various photocommunities.
www.GFXARTIST.COM is one such community which is now dying out, the comment & critique recieved there is very large in number, all the present member will easily adapt blogging solutions like pixelpost to store the C&C recieved.
Integrating comments, recieved from different ART communities sure is a feature unexplored by any bloging solution. If such a addon is in place. I am sure the popularity of pixelpost will raise by leaps.
The Requirement for such a ADDON would be, on the admin panel where we upload/edit images, & the info needed would be
- 1.add URLs of different photoforums the photo is submitted. ( ex DA,Flickr,Photo.net, Photosig, GFXArtist, etc )
- 2. Add 3 Div tags for
- MemberName
- Comment
- Date & Time
And a parser would fetch comments & store them in pixelpost comment database.
PS: I am aware of the flickr comment addon, but there are others too. None other that flickr provide APIs. As for copyright they can be added too
