It would be best to get in touch with the template developer.
From what I can see, the reason for all the thumbnails loading on the photo page is due to the thumbnail slider.
FWIW, your photoblog loaded quite fast for me. I did see all the thumbnails loading but it looks like they begin to load once the page is rendered.
