Blue borders on thumbs in IE only...
Thanks anyway, I figured it out!
*************************** Hello -- I am new to Pixelpost and CSS and I've been attempting to customize my template when I came across a problem with the thumbnails. I've changed the a href tags on my stylesheet and in Mozilla everything works fine, but in Explorer I can't seem to get rid of the default blue/purple borders on the thumbnails. Text links are behaving properly in both browsers, it's only the image links that are giving me a problem. www.mamatang.ca/blog Also, how do I put space between thumbnails instead of having them all pressed tightly against each other? Playing with the padding/margins didn't seem to work unless I'm poking about in the wrong places... Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. Last edited by mamatang; 08-18-2005 at 05:00 AM. I'm sure it was the CSS for the links, where no color was defined for links and so IE showed the default blue border around the thumbnails, which are links to the image-pages..
but for sure it is better to explain the result instead of just saying: "it's solved..." |

Yes indeed it was the CSS, and I apologize for not explaining it earlier.
I needed to change the CSS to get the link color displaying properly in IE, as Connie suggested. For the second problem about space between thumbnails, I believe I added some padding to the #image heading in the CSS. Apologies again, and I hope this helps someone in the future. |
