HTML > XHTML (Tables to Layers)

I have a problem. I did my table based template for pixelpost. Now I want to change tables to layers (CSS). But I don't have the same results

I want to have header an footer. The content must be IN THE MIDLE, like now (HTML), but i can't obtain it

the footer can be very tricky to get working right using xhtml/css

as far as a header and centered photo...that's pretty easy.

read up and take a stab at it, then post back in the design help section and we'll help you tweak it out
