Red face simple (silly?) questions

i feel silly asking this, but where do i go to edit my 'about' info, and my links?.. just got her up and running, and everything seems to be working great, i'm having a blast.. but for the life of me i can't figure this one out. (my info's below)

also, how do i change the color, and/or weight of text that i've made into a link?

thanks for your help...

well, ou need to open the files of the template up in a text editor, such as notepad or wordpad, or a wysiwyg editor such as dreamweaver...

in order to change the fonts and colors, you need to edit the templates css files found in the styles folder of your template directory.

if you dont know css, there are some links in the "design and front-end code" section of this forum that will help you out in learning.

...actually, you know, i did figure out the bold text thing, but i still can't find where to edit my "about" and links. can't find a CSS file for it, or an interface through PP... which it kinda seems like there should be something like.

i feel like i'm just missing something obvious and easy...

you have to edit the about_template.html file in your template folder of pixelpost, then upload it

If you're actually making a Pixelpost .. post you can just type **bold** to make the text bold.

Thumbs up

thanks blinking8s... that's what i'd been trying to do, but my TextEdit kept defaulting the html into richtext. but i just found the ignore richtext option, and things seem to be fine.

and thank you too, tinyblob, i appreciate y'all's help.

cheers,
ct
