Pictures Won't Post

Everything looks to be ok here (see below), but the only message I get when I try to post an entry is the big red box with "Error" inside. Any suggestions? Thanks - P

"Server software Apache/1.3.33 (Unix)"

your Apache is too old, I think!

are you using a hosting service? If so, ask them to update Apache for you

which Pixelpost version are you using as well?

Well, I just remember one situation that one user had an too old Apache..

sen.so.us, what do you think about that frontpage info here and / or mod_fastcgi..

Quote:
Server software Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) FrontPage/5.0.2.2510 mod_fastcgi/2.4.2
could that disturb?

but, pshorten,

1) which PixelPost version?
2) ask your host, if there are some restrictions on safety PLUS
3) is there only a red box with ERROR or is there more information coming with that message?
4) which kind of graphic file did you try to upload?

TIF, GIF, PNG, JPG?

5) which filesize? Is there a filesize-restriction at your webspace for uploading?

@Connie - As long as PHP is setup properly *any* version of Apache 1.3.x will work also FrontPage extensions and mod_fastcgi should not interfere with File uploads

Let us see what pshorten has to answer - most likely the error messages display has been turned off by his host and hence there is no further information....
