Cool Counter problem with visitors

Hello,
First of all, this is a great product. We have found it to be very useful in displaying my wifes photography talents. Check it out http://photos.lx-net.org

Ok to my problem. It appears that unpredictably the visitors counter resets to the number 22. Is very sporadic and I don't think it can be reproduced on demand. I though the function only counted visitors this month, and I even changed the visitors to visitors this month as you will see.
Has anyone run into this issue, I think the counter is based on a mysql record, so any suggestions will be appreciated.

if you know how to use phpmyadmin or any other mysql front application on your server then look in the pixelpost_visitors table and see how many entries are in there. in theory every visitor since you instlalled pixelpost should have created an entry with their ip-address in there... if not then there is a problem with your database...

Thanks for the response Joe.
Here is screenshot of phpmyadmin http://lx-net.org/screenshot.png
The month field appears weird. Does it based it on the system time?
I don't have access to that machine, but it looks like the time on the machine is wrong?
Or is it something on my admin settings?
