Hi,
I have a very basic pixelpost site installed at: haakondewing.com Due to the many unsavory types that use the internet I think it might be wise to password protect the area I use for pictures of my children. Is there a way to do this? I would like to have some categories available to all without authentication, and some, like family, should be restricted. thanks for any advice. |

I am afraid Pixel Post does not allow that...

This isn't a common feature for a photoblog. The general idea of a photoblog is to share your images with the public. What you are looking for is more of a gallery. I would suggest Coppermine or Menalto Gallery for the ability to create password protected albums.

well, do it this way:
two installations, one public one in another directory, which you password-protect you can do different installations when you install in different directories and use different prefixes for the tablenames (in /includes/pixelpost.php) Good luck! |
