i'm just curious as to what the concensus among the core developers (not contributors) of Pixelpost in terms of "extending" documentation beyond the forums or the official FAQ. is there a milestone for upcoming releases? are there plans to assign a "documentation" team-leader to designate forum regulars to help start a wiki?

imho, it's not essential, or important. it's vital for Pixelpost to have a well defined set of detailed documentation. beyond functionality, it's an area where Pixelpost can really shine. it takes time to build solid documentation but it has to start somewhere. and hopefully we don't have to wait too long for it, that's all.

Hey, if you want somebody to control your scrips. I love to read it through for you.
I have nothing to do in the evenings and I like to read some good poetry .

the website under works will contain an updated faq, eventually a manual, and a a changlog and updated news, how far that is away from releasing is up in the air. More than likely it will go back under works in a few weeks for the holidays.

is there a milestone for upcoming releases? nope

are there plans to assign a "documentation" team-leader to designate forum regulars to help start a wiki? not at the moment

I offered help in the past but since then I've lost all design interest so I can't help there. Wouldn't mind beta-testing stuff out.

thanks but currently we don't require any beta testing for any packages.

for now the only thing we would like the the community to perhaps get involved with us in (at least, what we feel would be most useful) is documentation. we may also be looking for some help on pixelpost.org v2.
