Template changer?
Ok, on my website (felloweskimo.net/photo), I have over 300 photos...and they all vary in width and height. None of them are over 800 pixels wide, but they all vary from 600-800, and the vertical ones vary from 350-500. Anyway, I want a new template. Problem is, I have a problem with vertical images being not so nice looking on the current template. It also leaves me very little room to write. I would like to be able to have two versions of a template, and when I upload the image in admin, be able to choose which version I want (vertical or horizonal). Here are examples:
Horizonal template Vertical template. Can this be done with CSS? Does it require a hack? I do not know php very well...but if someone gives me clear directions I can follow them. Is this even possible? |

it would require a php hack to swap the tempate out for the max image width vs height...I dont think anyone has dont this yet though
however, like on my photoblog, the template is made to adjust around this..I used a very minor hack.

it just allows for the spacing around the image, something like a regular image border or drop shadow css can handle without a hack...
I'll take a look at your template in a bit...pretty busy at the moment.
