Unhappy Fatal error in 1.4.2 -> 1.5 upgrade

Greetings,

I am in the process of upgrading my pixelpost installation to 1.5 from 1.4.2. I backed up my old files, overwrote the old ones with the new ZIP files I downloaded today, read the readme_install file and everything seemed hunky-dory until this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: upgradeto15beta() in /home/.dude/kaliganges/hungryphotographer.org/pixelpost/admin/install.php on line 150

My pixelpost is down for the moment but I can still access the admin pages. Info on my installation below. (It "says" I am at version 1.5 but I do not think that is the case.) My host is DreamHost. Has anyone else run into this problem before?

Cheers
KJ

woah your host is slow. it would seem you simply haven't uploaded all the files correctly if pixelpost is reading your version as 1.5 but it isn't really. reupload everything.

I just reuploaded everything (I did do this already, FWIW) and am still getting the same error. What I don't understand is what this error *means*. Can anyone help me with that?

basically it is telling us that it can't find the function for upgrading anywhere... assuming create_tables.php is uploaded correctly (where this function resides) i can't think what your problem might be.

Lo and behold

Thanks for the responses. I did get it working finally (it was missing a file). Getting a second opinion helped.

JIM,

you get this missing file in the 1.5-Zip!
It meant, that not all files where uploaded at all!

so, check whether you uploaded ALL files from the 1.5-package (including the edited pixelpost.php !)

good luck!

yes, sometimes things in the life take a little time
not everything is working 100% from scratch

but that is normal, it just needs some patience and exactness...

I am glad it is working now. Enjoy it!
