I noticed something: at the upmost top of your page I see this infamous



this is the BOM, which sits atop of textfiles which are saved in Unicode format

if you save your templates anew, using the option "UTF-8 without BOM" this will be omitted.
Sometimes this  is disturbing because it always sits as the first character in a file.

thanks connie. i've tried to remove it and it is indeed annoying. sometimes it goes away and sometimes it comes back... argh
