updated blog design

Hello all. I've redesigned the look of my blog again. I'm much happer with the way it looks now. More of what I wanted, anyway. I've got a few more things I want to do to it...but for all intents and purposes...it's good to go. Please take a look and if you wouldn't mind, let me know what you think of the new layout/design. Do you have suggestions? Do you see any display problems in your browser? If so, what system (mac/pc/etc) are you using with what browser, so I can best troubleshoot.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!!

I like it, nice and clean. But you should validate it.

It works fine with FireFox and Konquerer on Ubuntu (Linux).

Mike, I like it, Mike.

But then I love photoblogs that give me eerything on the one page with one click. The exif and your notes and thoughts and the image.

Why the hell does everyone else make me make 2 or 3 clicks to glean all the info for an image with popups etc?

Oops, I see I have to wait for a popup to see if there was any comments. ;-)

Nevermind, I like your work and I'm willing to have the extra click just to see if there is any comments on the photo. You could make your new look better by putting the comments on the same page though!

Looks fine on IE6.

Wait, I see a problem in IE6. The bottom comment in the popup is chopped off.

I like it, but the browse page doesn't work in FF 1.5 on XP. The body.jpg stops about half way through the first row of thumbnails. It works fine in IE 6 though.

Sorry to nitpick, but now that I see what it's supposed to look like in IE, the bottom line graphic doesn't match up to the bottom of he body.jpg in FF 1.5 either.

I still like it though. It's one of the few that I've seen that made me consider working on a new design for my blog.

@DikkieBurger: yeah... that's one o' those things I need to do... validation... thanks for the reminder.

@Spudooli: I see your point. I think, on some level, people want their blog all about the photo. That way the image is uncluttered for best viewing. But on the other hand... I want to see the EXIF/notes about an image, too... thanks for the feedback.

@blinking8s: Could you elaborate? What did you like about the old one better? I felt it was kind of blah in terms of color/contrast. Also the layout wasn't as tight as I'd like, I think. Inquiring minds wanna' know.

@dakwegmo: thanks for the feedback! I'll check in FF 1.5 on XP. that's one browser I didn't have installed, yet.

Thanks everyone. This info is VERY helpful!! And thanks to the PP development crew for making an application that's so easy to modify/work with!!

i think im just sick of seeing that confined box layout, everyone who pumps out a pixelpost template is doing the same thing, before at least it took me across the entire page with the design, with the content centered and neat.
