JLSpurling.com Template

- my template in production. You'll probably recognise little bits and bobs from other blogs but the code is all mine.

entirely css based.

if anybody is interested i'd happily release this template for everybody to use.

ok. will get around to it - i need to just tweak the odd thing like things like index.php being edited to suit everybody's needs - rather than just mine.

IE for mac is the devil, i guess thats why MS discontinued its support...sad that i should have to code for such a flow of a browser...

yes the template should be corrected to work on IE for mac, but you should find yourself a new browser

*cough*get-firefox*cough*

Hi,

I´m using this template with some changes, but i`ve noticed something that didn't happened with the older templat I used, Simplyblue: In the comments page and in the info&links page, it seems not to recognize the accents, and replaces it with an interrogation symbol. It's pretty weird because it doesn't happen in the image_template. I think it may be something on the code, but I can't find it. Can anibody help me?

Thanks.

From what I can tell, when you modified the templates, you just cut and pasted the text that you want to display, accents and all. Accented characters are not valid html. You need to convert them all to their HTML representation. For example, ä for ä. It can be a lot of work, but a decent HTML editor will convert them automatically when you paste them in in design mode.
