Code:
AddDefaultCharset utf-8

Po angliski, poshalista!

but I can tell you that PP is completely UTF-8 compatible, if your server sends UTF-8 in the header, the browser is set to UTF-8 and the template is edited and saved in UTF-8

The Pixelpost is not a course of that problem. The problem was in the httpd.conf (or .htaccess) of Apache, that changes the default codepage to windows-1251. Now, all of my problems with PP and utf-8 solved! Thank you!

p.s. But I cannot explain, why the Wordpress UTF-8 installation is function very well without specific setup of Apache server by the same account of the same hosting-company.

Connie, thank you very much! Sorry, but I can't speak Deutsch...

I am sorry for your hard-disk crash... This photo is very "russian"

Thank you for Pixelpost!

Thumbs up

Few people commented in Russian in my blog (PP 1.5), all looks good. I didn't change any configuration settings for this, I guess my host installed Apache properly
