I've got the same issue - new database and a clean install - not upgrading.
I go to admin/install.php, and I get: ---------------------- Installation Welcome to Pixelpost 1.6 upgrade! STEP 1: Prepare database upgrade This will update the database tables that are needed for this version of Pixelpost and add needed tables to support the new features. Press the Upgrade button to continue. ---------------------- Any ideas on why this is happening? |

it is indeed doing this and we are looking into it..during testing this didnt come up, so something was changed...
however, if you run the upgrade it still installs...then login with blank user/db and change your user/pass via the admin panel we should have this fixed tonight or in the morning
