Missing EXIF

I had a pixelpost v1.5 blog up and running great. When I upgraded to 1.6, I created a new directory in my www just to test it. In doing this, I copied my templates, my images and my thumbnails to the new directory. I ran the upgrade which updated the database…this went fine. I went into the addons and updated the EXIF stuff…again went fine.

So now I have a dir with my old 1.5 and a new one with 1.6. I can browse in the old dir and it shows EXIF no problem. Browsing in the new 1.6 version, only a handful of photos show the EXIF. I know that the actual images contain the EXIF info, and I can’t tell why some have them, and some don’t.
Any ideas?

The code in my template to display EXIF is as follows:

<EXIF_CAMERA_MODEL><br />
<EXIF_EXPOSURE_TIME> | <EXIF_APERTURE> | <EXIF_FOCAL_LENGTH>

When you upgrade Pixelpost to v1.6, you have to go to the addons page, and press the "Update EXIF" button.

After you've done that, all of your old photos EXIF data will be imported into Pixelpost.

Thanks for the reply, but I did mention that I did that in my first post.
I even later tried the remove button and then update again with the same result

Check the exif_info field in the pixelpost table of your PP database, is there anything there for any of you posts?

Of the maybe 10-15 I looked at, yea they have data in that field.

Here is an example of one.

Hey!

I have the same problem. I have update the EXIF-Function in the admin panel. And so it shows me the exif data from my old pictures - very good! but now it shows me no exif data from new uploaded pictures. Look here: http://photos.mirrortheworld.de - the last 2 pictures are new pictures, and the rest are old pictures.

What can i do to solve this problem?

thanks

Matthias
