i'm tilnox and i have a photoblog http://www.photografia.tilnox.org
before that http://www.tilnox.org/visualmente/.V02.1/ i've been posting photos for a while, used different blogs, changed names, domains, servers.. my question is: is it ok to join them all in one blog? and is it possible to save the comments already made? the photos i will have to upload by hand (it's ok, i don't mind that) i can even post them on the exact date they were posted on the older sites, because pixelpost lest you do that.. i can even add the comments myself and add them to the new site, the thing are the dates.. if i upload a photo from 2005 and add the comments the photo add, they will show up as today comments! does anyone have any ideas? or am i just a crazy with a plan! |

You *could* upload and set the dates manually, like you said.
But for the comments, you would probably have to do that manually in the database using a tool such as phpMyAdmin. If you want to attempt something like this... MAKE SURE you do a FULL backup of both Pixelpost installs and their databases. Because when you start messing around with phpMyAdmin it's very easy to mess up the whole install. So it's better to be safe than sorry.

Well you can always write an import routine to do this, but it won't be easy.
