But it seems Jay has already added a place for it, so look for that.

DAKWEGMO - read my last post... all of his comments have been addressed... and the demo and downloads have been updated... if you are referring to the transition between comments and info... I like it the way it is... the transition between recent comments and leave a comment has been adjusted. Scriptaculous isn't perfect either so depending on the position and order of the DIV's (especially 3 of them to toggle), it get's tricky.

The image footer was done by adding another DIV so that you can control the styling of the text underneath the image.

Depending on where under the image you want it, you can put it between these two lines
HTML Code:
</div> <!-- image-border -->

</div> <!-- photobox -->
or between these two
HTML Code:
</div> <!-- thumbnails -->

</div> <!-- image_wrapper -->
or just before the closing </body> tag.

Great ! Thanks for the update. But I'm afraid there are still problems with IE, everything is set to the left of the screen, the image being cropped a bit.

Another problem, with the first version and the white template. It appears that there are no scrolling enabled with comments. Everything is just right out of the box, or image height if you like. Not sure what I'm saying is all that clear so here's an example, choose white and look at comments.

With the black style, everything is contained in the box and scrolling down is possible.

As i don't know anything about css, maybe you know why?

unless someone posts a screenshot, I can't help you on the not centered thing.

Would one of you that is seeing this OFF-CENTER phenomenon, please post a screen shot?

nonetheless, you'll want to make sure you clean your cache out... but the example you are linking to is the OLD version so that doesn't help. I think I made it pretty clear that I didn't want to release the old version but I was getting 40 emails a day asking for it... so I did... now the new version is out and as far as I can see on IE6 and IE7, there are no odd behaviours that I can see so please send a screenshot.

In the new version, the comments are not INSIDE the photobox div so they will flow outside the image... and that's the way I feel it works best given the variation of image sizes people are using this template for... besides, the scroller inside the photobox is fugly.

Jay, I've tested IE6 and 7 on both your demo page and my test site and don't see any issues with the screen being off center.

If you can give me a screenshot of the off-center you are seeing I'd appreciate it... it's not perfect, it's not really obvious in IE6, IE7 or Safari.
The problem with the off-center was something from my php files.. after weeks growing gray-hair editing the template files i finally realized the problem was from a php..
looks good now on IE.. there's a slight problem in firefox though now, the title of the photoblog is not clickable..

as for validating css and xhtml.. would be really really sweet

@Marco
try re-uploading the php files again, the problem is there

Php files ? You mean index.php ? Tryed that, but doesn't work. I haven't modified any actually. Could you please specify ?

The main thing about scrolling for comments is that it doesn't go over the image footer, which does look a bit weird, in my opinion.

And true, the site title isn't clickable in Firefox anymore.

HERE's WHAT I SEE...

IE6:

IE7:

It's nearly impossible for me to help you if I can't duplicate the problem. You may want to try making your thumbnails 50px x 50px like the readme indicates... anything bigger than 50 will grow the right side (actually the opposite of your problem.

I know what's up with the Logo not clickable, I'll fix that... but "fresh" to me seems like a more logical place that people will click on.

@ Shutterhead : The screenshot was just after changing the template, I did update the thumbs, but I'm afraid this doesn't change anything. Thanx anyways !
