image tags don't render

Hi I just upgraded and eager to play with the tags in 1.7
However using the template tags does not render the code..
When I look at the source of my template page I still have the template tag
<TAG_IMG_LIST_PAGED>

What am I doing wrong here?
Do I need somethig to set in admin?
Ah, also in my admin, when I look at my images, the tags show up fine..

to use <TAG_IMG_LIST_PAGED> you have to set Paged Archive Addon to "on"
And make sure to use a "normal" text editor for editing the template files. If you use a WYSIWYG editor (HTML editor) the < and > may be replaced by &lt; and &gt;
