thanks dwilkinsjr for your offer - i updated yesterday to 1.7 again, runnig now the simplicious template and nearly everything works fine (except those spams on images which are no more in the blog or the database- i´ll head for another entry in another section here). and as i like the simplicious template more than the old one - it´s now all fine.

@ jay: thanks for doing such a great template! some category-stuff in the archives would be fine (see http://www.fischimglas.de/index.php?x=browse) - but moreover you´re doing a great job! i´m lookin forward on what comes next ;o)

thanks erveryone!

hey, awesome template. I have a big question though. How do you make it so the first image in the set comes up first and the images go in the correct way when you scroll through them. Because it looks silly to have the thumbnails lined up and then have to press the back arrow on the picture to scroll "forward" through the images. Any help switching this around to the correct way would be great. Thanks.

and rightfully so, the reason why it's under my pp_testing directory... definitely has some issues in anything but Safari, but the architecture is known to be bug free in those so I just gotta play some more.

they're definitely there in Safari... IE7 has a little bug I see... just a small part of the bottom of the overlay isn't covering the photo... nothing a little CSS tweak can't fix.

you lost me here... it seems right to me... can you elaborate a little more?

hhmmmm... on second thought... maybe I know what you're asking... if you click the right arrow, the thumnails go the opposite way? If so, yeah that is dumb... and I didn't notice... you just have to...

remove...

_REV

from the...

<IMAGE_THUMBNAIL_ROW_REV>

tag down toward the end of the image_template.html file.

I'll fix this in the download package and upload at the same version level

thanks for spotting this...

Jay

Great template!

A little bug in IE7: after opening/closing "comments" the thumbnails "jumps" from their position to the center. After mouse moving all becomes okay.

noted... thanks for the heads up... will look into.

i do have a question though... the background on your thumbs is black... when it should be white... I see white on IE7, Safari, Camino, Firefox.

awesome thanks for the help with the thumbnails going backwards. one more question, how do you get it to default to open the first image uploaded instead of the lastest? That way they can scroll through the gallery from start to finish.
