Simple[2]

This template is simply an edited version of the default Simple template. I mostly just restyled a few things and added collapsible panels for the comments and photograph info. I wanted to keep things really stream-lined and easy to use, with nothing to distract from the photographs.

Demo available at my site: http://photo.linkportfolio.net/
Download here

Info on how to install can be found in the included readme file. If you have any questions feel free to post them here.

Happy shooting =)

Great template! I had a small issue with the css not showing up, and I realized you just need to adjust line 12 in each template page...instead of

Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/simple/css.css" title="css" />
It has to be
Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/simple[2]/css.css" title="css" />

Hi. Cool template. My CSS does not show either, just downloaded the template.

1) Is their a newer version with thatt fixed?

2) How can I make the photo's fade in and out like pixyblog.com ?

Excellent work.. hoping to get this to work soon 100% for me.

I thank you and look forward to any reply.

One other thing that would really be nice...

how do we add the boxover script ...

thats a nice effect

If we can add the boxover along with the photos fading in/out then this template would truly be A#1 Five Stars !! It's so close !!!!

@Themezz - I just uploaded a fixed version that points to the CSS file properly so that issue should be all cleared up now.
I'm afraid that this template is about minimalism and a simple, clear presentation of the photos. Feel free to add those effects if you like, it shouldn't be too tricky. Just head over to http://script.aculo.us/ and start exploring from there.

EDIT:
Looks like boxover is available here as well: http://boxover.swazz.org/

I really have no idea what you're asking, could you explain it again?

Looks like the forum reformatted my message . Let me try it this way...

The template had a certain spacing between the menu choices.

Like this

PHP Code:

Blog      About      Albums     Browse    Contact    Subscribe    Prints

I want less space between them...

Like this

PHP Code:

Blog  About  Albums  Browse  Contact   Subscribe  Prints

Is that in the CSS file? If yes.. where???

Thanks
