Besucherzähler springt auf 0

Mein Besucherzähler ist jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal auf 0 zurückgesprungen und hat alle Besucher "vergessen". Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegt?
Beim ersten Mal dachte ich, es wäre wegen dem Jahreswechsel, dass das immer die Besucher pro Jahr wären, aber das ist es wohl nicht.
Vielleicht passiert es bei 1000 Besuchern, aber ich glaube ich war bei 1200 und am nächsten Tag stand da 3 Besucher.
Ist mir ein Rätsel...

Just upgraded to 1.7.1. and looked through all options - but i cant find a setting like this.
