Hmm... Error?

So I am in the installation part of pixelpost. I use godaddy as my host. I am installing v1.7.1 and every time I try to test the connection I get this message:

Database Connection Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2)
Database Connection Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2)

I have no idea what that means. I have all the information correct, unless my hostname is not localhost. Or on the previous page I have it tell me the value for my registers_global is "No"
Thats all my information on that... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are, your database hostname isn't localhost, large web hosts, such as godaddy often have separate dedicated database servers. If you contact them they should be able to provide you with the correct information.
