hey everybody. updated today to pixelpost 1.7.1 and now using the beautiful simplicious template. for some reason i can't figure out, the navigation overlay isn't working, and neither is the loading indicator. since i'd like to ditch the thumbnails similar to the style that kulayphoto is using, i really need the nav to work!
have i just missed something? checked that everything has uploaded into the template folder and all that... any ideas?

oh yeah: site is at http://neverdrownout.com

so i've made some very minor tweaks to the template, just changed some text and removed the thumbs row entirely.
-also re-uploaded the images and scripts folders to be sure nothing was missing/corrupted from first install of these. still can't get the image browsing overlay to work! can someone please take a look at my code to make sure i am not retarded or missing something vital to get the prev/next browsing working?

again, thanks.

First of all : thanks for this beautiful template... Great job done. I love it!
I just have a small question to ask :
I made some minors changes in the template in order to put my "little" signature on it. In the browse_template.php, the pictures appear as squared even if they aren't squared. I just would like ton know if you think that it will be possible to keep the ratio of original pictures : they will be resized with a fixed height but with variable length (according to the original size of the picture)?
I have small knowledge in xhtml/css and php. Nothing in javascript!
Do you think that can be easily done?

Did someone already figure out where that 2px border beneath image and browse-image-grid in IE7 comes from? Tried to fix it in CSS, but doesn't work. Just a bug in IE?

Lightbulb Change arrow overlays?

I love your template, Shutterhead! One thing I would like to modify though. Can you tell me how to change the navigational arrows that pop up over the image? I'd like it to show just the arrows without the semi opaque background that obscures the photo behind.

Thanks,
Andy

dr_optical: you can modify this in the arrows.psd (Photoshop file) that Shutterhead provided within his template. Here you can change the opacity of the different layers, then save it as a PNG and then upload the file again.

I'm currently using Simplicious but I prefer the navigation arrows out of the Delicious template. How would I change the arrows so that I have the Delicious style ones?

An Elegy Of Sorts

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Fureddo,

just look in your tempate/simplicious/images/dark (or light) and replace the arrow images with the one from delicious. I think they are called next_btn.png and prev_btn.png

Hope that helps!

Frozone

oh by the way. I also did some minor modifications. My site http://clifficious.de
