RSS trouble in 1.4

Just installed 1.4, but are having trouble with the feed. I can get the title and stuff, but no image. Found this in another post

Quote:
I found the reason is that there should be at line 558, it should read like this...
$image = $cfgrow['siteurl']."/thumbnails/thumb_$image";
... but this has apparently been fixed in the version i downloaded (04/20), but I still have the same problem.

Any ideas?

if you miss the tailing slash in the site url field you set in admin panel this will be ok and if you use the tailing slash this will give you error. I'll correct this.

Hmm, I'm confused.

I started out with the tailing slash and couldn't see the images, but there was a clear indication that there should be an image (the broken image thingy). I then removed the tailing slash and then there was no image at all. I then put the slash back and there's still no image and not even the broken image thing. What I do get is a parse error from the sage plugin in firefox (news reader).

Have I lost you, or do you have any suggestions?

I do appreciate the help very much.

it's quite simple:
- if you use the latest version which has '/' in the RSS feed where creates thumbs you don't need to add tailing slashes
- if you use the version that to not add '/' in the RSS feed where creates thumbs you need to mention the tailing slashes.

I will extract the extra slash from RSS and ATOM feed in v1.4.1 and I will give emphasis on putting the tailin slash.
