Can't post comments

So I haven't been getting any comments for quite some time, and someone finally told me there was a problem. Seems when they try to post a comments, they get this error (below).

If the photoblog works, shouldn't the comment system connect as well? What can I check to resolve this? It's happening on both my photoblogs, both 1.7.1.

Warning, missing argument . . . tells me everything.

Three possibilities here:

1) You forgot to upload all files when upgrading, mainly index.php
2) You're using an old hacked index.php and thus this is why you skipped #1
3) You're using an addon to modify comment output and it is not compatible with your version of pixelpost.

It isn't 1 or 2, and I've just uploaded a fresh index.php. Still no workee.

I had the Advanced Pixelpost Comment Stats installed, but I've disabled it. Still no workee.

Here are my installed addons:

Admin Sample 12CropImage addon (admin_12CropImage - version 1.0)
Advanced stats (advanced_stat - version 1.0)
Fastedit for Pixelpost 1.5 (fastedit - version 1)
MediaRSS (mediarss - version 1.0.2)
PIXELGRAIN template ADDON (pixelgrain_addon - version 0.1)
Page-By-Page-Archive for category and month (paged_archive - version 1.7)
Ping service (admin_ping - version 1.0)
Pixelpost Anti-Spam (anti_spam - version 2.0)
Pixelpost Calendar (calendar - version 1.1.6)
Pixelpost Copy Folder Contents (copy_folder - version 1.1)
Pixelpost Current DateTime (current_datetime - version 1.1)
Pixelpost Defensio comment filter (Admin Side) (_defensio/admin_defensio - version 1.3.2)
Pixelpost Defensio comment filter (Front Side) (_defensio/front_defensio - version 1.3.2)
Pixelpost Promote (promote - version 1.0)
Update EXIF (admin_update_exif - version 0.2)

And my disabled addons:
Advanced Pixelpost Comment Stats (admin_comment_stat - version 1.01) - status: OFF
Archive Calendar (archivecalendar - version 1.1) - status: OFF
Pixelpost Akismet comment filter (Admin Side) (_akismet/admin_akismet_comment - version 1.4) - status: OFF
Pixelpost Akismet comment filter (Front Side) (_akismet/front_akismet_comment - version 1.3) - status: OFF
Reply To Comments Addon (Display) (_commentication/commentication - version 1.1) - status: OFF
Reply To Comments Addon (Front Side) (_commentication/front_commentication - version 1.1) - status: OFF

I did have the Reply to Comments addon installed, but I have since disabled it, and I've verified the new tags are not in my template.

I've tried disabling ALL my addons, and it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

dwilkinsjr suggested earlier that it might be because you forgot to upload a file. He mentioned the index.php as an example since there are numerous files needed for Pixelpost.

I would suggest to re-upload them all.

I've just done that, from a fresh download of pixelpost. I'm still getting the same error.

I just tried shifting to the "simple" template, and the comment worked, so it looks like it's a template issue. I'm going to go through it line by line and see if I can see anything obvious.

It was the template (an old one). I'm shifting to a newer one now.
