Help needed: last thumbnail

Hello,

I need a little help.
I use the promote addon a lot but i've got a question.
When someone want to show the last picture on my site he must use the script from this addon.

But there are users that cannot post javascripts on their site. So I have to find something else.
When i've post a photo, pixelpost makes a thumbnail of this picture but within the filename and date when the picture is post.
Is there a way that pixelpost always makes a copy from the last thumbnail and that this last thumbnail has always the same name?
So that every one can use this thumbnail which is always the last photo that you've post.

example:
posting photo1.jpg => /images/photo1.jpg
=> thumbnails/thumb_photo1.jpg
=> thumbnails/thumb_promote.jpg (this is a copy from thumb_photo1.jpg)

posting photo2.jpg => /images/photo2.jpg
=> thumbnails/thumb_photo2.jpg
=> thumbnails/thumb_promote.jpg (this is now a copy form thumb_photo2.jpg, he overwrite this file)

It did'nt work for me, not with pixelpost 1.7.1

Maybe another solution?
