dfGallery addon released

Hi everyone!

I've been sweating a few hours already trying to nstall the dfGallery, read all the messages here, but still can't find where I'm wrong.

I have the loading stuck...

I'm new to PixelPost, so it's very possible I made a very obvious mistake!

I have php5, curl should be enabled.
The addons are enabled also.

My mediarss page doesn't show, even though it's there:

I get my custom 404 page come up... I don't know why!

If you have some skills and a little time, thanks to give me a hand :-)

I haven't tried or studied this slideshow addon.

The link you given of mediarss is wrong, should be one "addons":

My mediarss page works finally. But the page still blocks on loading:

ranmajen: hello :-) Sorry, the links are "cut" down when I past them on the board, but they are still ok!


EDIT : I uninstalled it, as I couldn't get it to work properly. Seems hard for many people to install it...

Does your php support CURL.

I have exactly the same problem with the loading bar stuck....

mediarss is working, php5 installed, Curl enabled, line 16 in gallery.php(time out) disabled.

any ideas?

It's a bummer that the maker of dfGallery doesn’t come with a solution to this problem.
The dfGallery possible fix earlier placed in this post does not work for me.

I emailed This Mister Marco a couple of weeks ago, but until now, no reaction at all. I bought a licence for dark matter pro, so I think a little support is in his place I think. But clearly he has a different idea on support for his sold products.

I agree, this thread seems dead, it's a pity, after all the efforts each one has spent to find out where his mistake was, when probably many did things the right way...
