Browse image by category with dark matter template

Hello pixelpost world,

I'm new to this forum, i just created my photoblog with pixelpost and the dark matter template on which i make some little customization.
I have made all the customization i want but there still one i want and i don't know how to do it.
I would like to have the possibility to browse my image through category/albums (already made with Albumview addon) but like many people when i watch an image on a specific category, the next and previous image is not the one from the category.
I've check with "advanced next" addon and "Geos" addon but i don't understand how to integrate it on the dark matter template.
I've seen some photoblog that use the dark matter template and have the ability to browse image through category.
Is someone here know how to do it, with a step by step help or an example of what to do inside the image_template.html and or the browse_template.html ?
I've check for hours on this forum and on the net but didn't find any good explication on how to do it ?
If someone can help me it will be very nice !

I have been trying to do the same thing. There are, apparently few add-ons out there but none is working. I have tried contacting the add-on author but no reply. Also, contacting the template author wouldn't help. I have been through this already and...ironically he recommended me to go back to Pixelpost since "The things you're suggesting are more Pixelpost core modifications than theme modifications. Did you try asking at the Pixelpost forum?"

I don't know what to recommend other than keep trying maybe somebody will finally positively respond.

I've been rather busy, to say the least. Moving from Europe to America took some of my attention. I did respond to all users who had issues with Dark Matter Pro and helped them getting things to work right.

Still, I think doing something that involves pixelpost functionality or extension thereof isn't a Dark Matter issue, pro or non-pro. Same thing goes for 3rd party addons. Some addons work well with certain templates, some not so much. Mostly because of hard-coded design choices and such. It's impossible to support all that kind of stuff on a template. When trying to get 3rd party stuff to work with any template you're pretty much on your own.

Hope this doesn't sound too harsh but there's just no way for me to dive into everyone's non-dark matter related issues.
