Unhappy Everything gone ??! (except 2 images)

This is very strange. Can someone please help. I've been using Pixelpost for 2 years now and have tons of photos, comments, stories on my blog. Today I noticed an error when I went to my page, something about the database. I followed the Pixelpost instructions to "test" everything to see if it's working and entered my Host Address, Database Name, User name, and Password. At the end it all turned green and said "Finished" Now when I go to my photoblog http://woodencarproductions.com/sofarsogood there are only two photos showing and all of my other info is gone. "About me", template, most all my photos, and most importantly my comments are GONE! Very sad. I know all of my photos still exist on the back-end where I have my other website. Is all the other info gone? If you can help I will be ever grateful. Thanks in advance -

It seems there is an issue with your database. It might have become corrupted. Try contacting your hosting company to see if a backup exists or if they can help you.

I contacted my host company and it appears that no back-up is saved. . . But I was able to solve the problem by speaking with a very helpful rep who looked at my database. I do not know what the original problem was, also did not take a screen cap, but it dealt with "cause #2" My only concern is that when getting the error message, Pixelpost suggested I follow steps to login and reinstall (which I did) creating a whole new photoblog from scratch. So i was stuck with a new photoblog, but luckily the old info was still there on the database. The database for some reason was not looking at the right place, and just at the new setup.

I am still confused as to what the original problem was, and i know it wasn't going away by itself like other posts suggested. Just happy it's back up and working !
