Ah, I thought that template looked a bit familiar
I did consider tables, but I do so hate them.. if I really can't find any other way, then yes, I too will have to resort to them.. else, maybe i'll go that way until I can find a better way..!
I guess with the details being beside the photo, it's always going to take up some space, and therefore limit the max width of the photo.

When I first saw the little thumb I thought: "Oh no, not another one of those who put a picture in the middle of a black or white background and call it a minimalistic template!"

I'm glad that I decidede to check out the demo anyway, because I was happily suprised! This template is simple, stylish, minimalistic, but also detailed. It is very professional and has some nice subtle details that combine to making this a great template.
