The World In 35mm - help using a comment popup?

Hello,

Has anybody modified The World In 35mm template to use a comment popup rather than inline on the photo page?

I can't seem to work out how to get the URLs correct when used in conjunction with the paged archive and mod_rewrite. The latest image is fine, but adding the /p/ to the URL throws it off when looking at any other photo in the archive.

Anyone know how either PP core or the template could be modified to make this happen?

Please post a URL, otherwise its just guessing at problems, not actually helping
