Split picture up by category, but display on the same page

HI,

I've just installed Pixelpost and am very pleased - it's a great a piece of software. I'm wondering if I can get a particular layout though. What I'd like is to have the thumbnails on the browse page divided up by category. At the moment I have all the thumbnails on the browse page mixed up:

I know that I can get the thumbnails for each category on a separate page using the paged archive addon e.g.

but what I'd like is to have the contents of each archive category page on a single page, i.e. the layout would be something like

Black and white

<<row of black and white thumbnails>>

Colour

<<row of colour thumbnails>>

Portraits

<<row of portrait thumbnails>>


I'm not sure if this is possible with the current templating system - it seems like you would either need some kind of foreach logic in templates, or the ability to effectively add parameters to tags, neither of which seem available.

Any ideas?
