How to create a Tiny url ?

I'd like to create a tiny url in my site.

For example, i have a new page "MyExtraPage" .

If I use the standard link it will be:

www.mysite.com\index.php?x=MyextraPage

I'd like to semplify it to:

www.mysite.com\MyExtraPage

Is there some mofdification I have to do using php in the pixelpost files?

(As you can image I'm not an expert maybe it is easier that I expecetd)
