Default PostgreSQL support for newer versions?
For 1.3 someone wrote a hack to let pixelpost 1.3 work on a PostgreSQL database.
Problem is that a lot of hacks modifications won't work because they are all written with only MySQL support. I hoped the 1.4 version had PostgreSQL support init (because on 1.3 it worked great and Im very thankful to the person who made the hack) But I noticed 1.4 does not have PostgreSQL support. This means I can't update or can't use all the modifications that exist. I studied on the code, to put PostgreSQL code manually, but I noticed the code change so using the old pieces of code wouldt work. Isnt there a way to get the PostgreSQL support in 1.4 ? Where there any thoughts to take the PostgreSQL hack into the newer pixelpost version? Regards, Kayja |

No, there is no PostGres Integration at all
we stick with MySQL as this is the most used Database (and as we know this database best) but we strongly encourage developers to develop such database support and publish it here, with one condition: this must continuous support, support for one version only is nothing in so fast times 8) |

yes I completely understand, but I just want to give this a little attention. I'm maybe not the only one with this issue. Perhaps a poll or something would be an idea? maybe developpers will stand up if the demand is high enough if I could do it, I would do it probably |
