Random image on main page - anybody?

but got no response. So I am trying a new one.

What is the easiest way to add a code to my main page that will show a random image from my gallery at each visit? (instead of the most recent one all the time)

I don't want to make a 2nd index page, just alter the one I have. Can you give me step by step instructions (I'm a newbie)

Unfortunately that addon doesn't work for me. I uploaded it into my addons folder and put the code in my HTML, and I still get the same image on my site every time....

I noticed the demo page set up also has the same image no matter how many times you refresh.

Any ideas?
