long filenames
I recently noticed when I tried to save a jpeg with a very long filename with photoshop's save for web function, I got a notification that the filename was longer than 30-something characters and that it would be truncated so that it would be compatible with Macintosh browsers.
Since the inclusion of dates in image names in pixelpost 1.4 the names are becoming very long, in my case almost always longer than the 30-something characters photoshop 'complains' about. When I showed a picture to a friend on his (fairly new) mac with safari a couple of weeks ago, everything showed up fine, but I'm just wondering if there might be a compatibility issue with older computers or older versions of safari? (I guess there are a lot of pixelpost users working with macs, who would have said something about this if it really was an issue, but still, I just want to be sure..) |

Joris,
thank you for this information. We will have to put that on our duty-list.. if it's true it could cause real problems, you are right so will have to investigate it.. thanks, Connie |
